My best friend and I were born at the exact same time just different days. 12:08pm

What superhero do you most relate to?
I never got into superheroes so I have no idea. If there's one that forgets why they went into a room, then that one.

At home with Meredith:
I've been married to my husband Dave for almost 15 years. We have two boys - Garrett is 12, almost 13; and Colden is 9). We have a 3yr old, 85lb Golden Retriever who thinks he's 12 lbs. I have one sister who also lives in Kansas City. She's married with four kids. It's always a good time when the six kids are together. My mom and stepdad are in Jefferson City, MO, where I was born and raised. My dad is in St. Louis, MO. I have one (step)-brother in St. Louis with his wife and two daughters and another brother, his wife, and two sons in Ashland, MO. Big family with lots of kiddos!

Did you have any nicknames growing up?
Growing up, my dad called me "Chubs" because I had chubby cheeks. Now people call me Mere

Jefferson City, MO - the state capital

What is your favorite sport to watch?
Baseball

Do you have a favorite sports team?
We watch a lot of sports in this house. Royals, Chiefs, Packers, Michigan, Mizzou, Clemson, Lakers, Heat - just to name a few favs

What is your favorite part of working at Inspire?
The friendships I've made even from afar

Tell us a funny story:
I was late to work once because a strange dog was blocking my front door. It was right after college, I was living on the top floor of an apartment complex, and at the time, was not a big fan of large dogs. I opened my door to leave and there was a large black dog standing there. He/She would not move for anything. There was not a large area to get out of the door and down the steps. In my head, I was thinking this dog is either going to barge in my apartment when I open the door or he's going to maul me (my uncle was mauled by a dog once and it scared me pretty bad). So I had to call work and tell them I'd be late because I was trapped in my apartment by a dog.
